The reason the war started is because the grandpa moved in and had to take Peter's room because the grandpa had a bad leg. That is why Peter continually plays tricks on his grandfather and the grandfather does the same.

Comment: You should read this book because it is funny and interesting. If you keep on reading this book it will get very exciting. The tricks start to get nastier. In the end, Peter and his grandpa do begin to work things out.
